A woman sitting on a white sofa in a bright living room with large green-framed windows and trees outside. She has blonde hair, is smiling, and is wearing a blue denim shirt and jeans. A small dog is lying on the carpet in front of her, and there is a brass-colored coffee table with a vase of colorful flowers, a wooden box, and some books.

Meet Aly

Originally from the south, Aly blends her Southern style with a crisp West Coast edge in every project. Her work celebrates color, texture, and pattern layered with a touch of whimsy to create customized livable spaces.

At the heart of each design is a commitment to telling the story of the people who live there. Aly Gay Design works closely with clients to bring personal meaning into the home, crafting spaces that feel soulful, inviting, and playful. Through thoughtful transitional design and an unwavering attention to detail each home is layered with warmth, history, and intention.

Aly is often heard quipping, “An antique in every room.” Whether it’s a travel-found trinket, a cherished piece of art, or your grandmother’s desk, every space should have a story to tell. These stories come to life through highly collaborative partnerships with architects, builders, and custom craftsmen, resulting in homes with exceptional flow, function, and timeless appeal.

Aly draws inspiration from her love of travel, fashion and design icons including Ken Fulk, Bunny Williams, and Mike D. Sikes.

Aly is a consummate professional, from delivering a wealth of inspiration board ideas, to coming over to ensure that every furniture delivery is correct, to proactively checking back to see if you are satisfied and need anything else. She is creative, able to embrace every type of style. She is positive and fun to work with! We love everything she has done in our home!

A cozy living room with blue walls, a fireplace, and built-in shelves decorated with books and ornaments. A glass-enclosed wine cellar filled with wine bottles is situated in the corner. There are two blue upholstered armchairs, a small side table with pink orchids, and a colorful patterned rug on the wooden floor. The room is well-lit with a ceiling chandelier and has decorative art on the walls.
